Congratulations to Terrence Broughton, one of our first Eastside Scholarships recipients! We are so proud to partner with the  Eastside Community Development Corporation  and the  Cigar Factory  to support this young man in his dream of working in law enforcement.  Terrence is a recent graduate of Burke High School.

The Gavalas Kolanko Foundation awards scholarships to students with physical impairments. Trident Technical College recently joined as a partner with the Gavalas Kolanko Foundation to offer scholarships to Trident Technical College students with physical disabilities. TTC joins the College of Charleston, Charleston Southern University, The Citadel, and the Art Institute of Charleston in this endeavor. The Division of Continuing Education and Economic Development is offering a new installment of the Workforce Pathways Scholarship that pays for course fees for approved career training continuing education programs. Anyone who meets the basic eligibility requirements can qualify to receive a scholarship, including TTC employees and students. The new installment of the continuing education Workforce Pathways Scholarship is open for applications one week only, from Thursday, S ept. 21, through Wednesday, Sept. 27. These scholarship funds are available for use only on qualified TTC continuing education courses within approved programs. Scholarship recipients are eligible to take an entire program or classes within a program; they are not able to move between programs. To be eligible, applicants must reside in South Carolina and have a GED or high school diploma, or provide college transcripts.
